It started with two sausage dogs and a motorcycle. I ride around Dubai with them whenever I can — and after posting about it online, I realised there are a lot of people here doing the same thing.
This is not a company, a club with membership fees, or an organised event. It’s just a page where I share when I’m going for a ride and where — and anyone who wants to show up at the same place at the same time is welcome. No sign up, no cost, no commitment.

How it works
There are no rules, no membership cards, and no one in charge. I share when I’m going for a ride — the time, the meeting point, and the rough route. Anyone who wants to show up can. Everyone rides their own bike on public roads under their own responsibility.

When I’m heading out, I post the time and meeting point in the group. Anyone who wants to come along shows up. No confirmation needed, no commitment expected — just turn up if you feel like it.
Ride on your own terms
Everyone who shows up is riding their own bike on public roads under their own responsibility. There’s no leader, no convoy rules, no pace requirement. We happen to be going the same way at the same time.

Riding with dogs — what works for me
I’m not telling anyone how to ride or how to travel with their dog. This is just what I’ve learned from doing it with my own two dachshunds — take what’s useful and ignore the rest.
A carrier with a harness attachment, ventilation panels, and a way to secure it to the bike makes a huge difference. My dogs took a few short test rides before they were comfortable — don’t rush it.
The heat here is serious. I leave before 7am every time. By 9am in summer it’s already too warm for the dogs to be comfortable. Early morning is the only option from May to October.
I stop every 60 to 90 minutes minimum. Water, shade, and a chance for the dogs to stretch. They tell you when they’re done — pay attention to that. No route is worth pushing a stressed dog.
My first ride with the dogs was 15 minutes around the block. Then 30. Then an hour. Build up gradually so your dog associates the carrier and the bike with something positive before attempting longer trips.

Any road-legal motorcycle, scooter, or three-wheeler. The only thing that matters is that your bike can safely carry your dog — whether that’s a purpose-built carrier, a sidecar, or a pet seat.
Yes. Some people join just for the routes and the community. You don’t need a dog to show up — just a bike and the motivation to get out early.
Everyone is responsible for themselves, their own bike, and their own dog. This is not an organised event — it is a group of individuals who happen to be riding on the same roads at the same time. Each person rides under their own insurance and their own judgement.
